Raster Blaster
Raster Blaster provides functionality to connect an existing RIP to a new output device, or a new RIP to an existing output device. This allows a high degree of flexibility when it comes to pre-press workflows since Raster Blaster can accept screened, 1-bit TIFFs for over 150 output devices.
Clicking on the link labeled RBPlugins will allow you to download an executable file containing all other device plug-ins. Before installing, we recommend you read the documentation associated with your specific device plug-in.
Another helpful document for Raster Blaster users is the "Using PB2Diag" bulletin created for customers using Xitron Interface cards. PB2Diag allows the user to collect important communication logs between the Xitron card and the output device. To review this bulletin, click here.
